Starting Salary: $73,000/year — higher compensation available based on experience

Position Overview

Seeking aCivil Construction Project Engineer to support the planning and execution of civil construction projects. This role coordinates subcontractors and field activities, assists with estimating and scheduling, and helps ensure projects meet contract, quality, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree inCivil Engineering, Construction Management, or Engineering
• 2–3 years of civil engineering or construction experience, such as Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Project Manager, or Assistant Project Manager
• Knowledge of constructionmeans, methods, scheduling, contract administration, estimating, and blueprint reading
• Experience coordinatingsubcontracted and self-performed work
• Proficiency withMicrosoft Office Suite and construction software such asProcore, Bluebeam, or Autodesk
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift up to50 lbs. and work safely on active construction sites, including stairs and ladders
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Civil constructionestimating, project coordination, or project management experience
• Experience working as acivil estimator
• CurrentCQC certification issued by USACE/NAVFAC
• EIT, Associate Constructor (AC), or similar professional credential
• Experience withIDIQ, design-build, or task-order projects
• Government or federal construction contract experience
• OSHA 30
• First Aid/CPR
• Construction Quality Management (CQM/CQC) certification
