MIPS Professional Services Consultant (Remote - US)

The MIPS Consultant will serve as a MIPS industry and software expert to Nextech clients and employees. They will be responsible for providing virtual consultations, training & services to both internal teams and external clients on how to use and apply best practices for Nextech entire family of software products within specialty practices. Responsibilities include issue investigation, creative problem solving, and training clients as well as internal staff.

Essential Functions

• In addition to working in accordance with appropriate conduct and behavioral standards, specific responsibilities of this role include:

  • ManageMIPSclientsthathave purchasedconsulting serviceson a recurring basis.
  • Host remote consultations with Nextech clients and prospects on MIPS best practices
  • Serve as the internal Industry Expert for MIPS as it relates to our specialty’s served.
  • Provide on-going feedback to Product Management as the ‘Voice of the Customer’ for product enhancements/corrections
  • Collaborate with the Consulting team to develop and maintain Best Practices for MIPS usage.
  • Identify, triage, and report bugs that are discovered and assist with work arounds.
  • Maintain a high-level of customer retention for consulting recurring services
  • Maintain 75% billable utilization.
  • Participate in meetings as needed for product education, product guild, team, best practices

  • Submit timecards,weeklyoverviews,andother updates to department initiatives and KPI’s as requested
  • Maintain and update projects in Salesforce

  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned based on business need

Minimum Requirements

• • Bachelor’sdegree
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Healthcare IT industry, MIPS.
  • Assertive withademonstratedabilitytocultivatestrongrelationships &influence behavior.
  • Excellent verbaland written communication skills.
  • Excellentinterpersonalandtimemanagementskills.
  • Strongcritical thinking & decision-making skills, negotiation skills and conflict management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledgeofor applicable experience in one of Nextech’s main medical specialties.
• Knowledge of workflow of a Medical Clinic.
• Understandingof HIPAAandPHI.

Working Environment/Physical Demands Working

• • This role is expected to have approximately 15% of travel.
  • Activities when not traveling require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor.
  • • Activitieswhen traveling require a significant amount of standing while training and supporting practices.
