At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Developer iOS MID to join our team inBrazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovative, transforming, and multicultural environment.

Position Overview

As a Syngenta (AMP) Developer iOS MID, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining high-quality iOS applications. Your expertise in Swift and modern architectures will ensure optimal performance and stability. Collaborating closely with the Product team and global colleagues, you will thrive in an agile environment, driving forward our mission of Collaboration, Innovation, and Transformation, fueled by the power of AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functionalities in iOS applications using Swift and modern architectures (e.g., MVVM).
• Deeply understand the business domain to propose technical solutions that add real value to the end-user.
• Proactively identify technical debts and opportunities for continuous improvement, with openness to suggesting refactoring and technological evolutions.
• Write clean, readable, and testable code, including regular unit test creation.
• Integrate the application with RESTful APIs and efficiently consume backend services.
• Manage project dependencies and libraries via Swift Package Manager (SPM) or CocoaPods.
• Actively collaborate in code reviews to maintain code excellence and assist in investigating and resolving bugs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical discussions about new features with the international team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced or fluent English for daily communication (spoken and written) with our global team.
• Investigative mindset with a strong curiosity for learning, consistently seeking updates on Apple ecosystem trends and engineering best practices.
• Proven experience in native iOS development using Swift.
• Proficiency in creating interfaces, particularly with programmatic layouts (SnapKit or Auto Layout).
• Solid understanding of design patterns and architecture (e.g., MVVM, Delegation) and object-oriented programming.
• Practical experience integrating with RESTful APIs and handling JSON.
• Strong knowledge in writing unit tests using the XCTest framework.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Ability to autonomously solve problems and communicate effectively within a team.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Ability to read and maintain legacy code snippets in Objective-C.
• Understanding of continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines with tools like Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise.
• Knowledge of local persistence (CoreData, SwiftData, or Realm) and specific UI libraries (like Pulley).
• Experience with observability tools, performance monitoring, and error tracking (Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.).
