Position Overview: The Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing machinery along the production line, includingblow molders,filling machines,labelers,conveyors, andshrink packaging equipment. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge ofhigh-pressure compressors, particularlyBellis & Morcom orAtelier François systems, which are critical for the blow molding process. This role requires a technician who can ensure maximum machine uptime and maintain the high standards of operational efficiency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, includingblow molders,filling machines,labelers,conveyors, andshrink packaging machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues across the entire production line.
• Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance onhigh-pressure compressors (e.g.,Bellis & Morcom,Atelier François) to ensure optimal performance for the blow molding process.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures, minimizing production downtime.
• Perform machine changeovers, calibrations, and adjustments to meet various production requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to address equipment-related issues and ensure smooth production flow.
• Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance, repairs, and performance.
• Assist with operator and junior technician training on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
