The role of a CNC Operator involves controlling computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-precision parts and components as per given specifications. The role is crucial in manufacturing and production industries, where precision and quality are extremely vital.
Job PurposeThe primary purpose of a CNC Operator is to interpret technical drawings, program CNC machines and monitor the production process to ensure the precision and quality of the produced components. Besides, the person in this position will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues that might occur during the production process.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Operating CNC machines to produce precision components.
- Interpreting and implementing technical drawings.
- Programming CNC machines according to the design specifications.
- Performing quality checks on produced items to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Troubleshooting issues that may arise during production.
- Applying knowledge of machining processes to ensure efficient production.
- Maintaining an accurate record of all production activities.
Required Qualifications
