We are currently hiring aProfessional AZ Driver – Internationalto join our long-haul team.

Position Details

• Position: Professional AZ Driver – International
• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Location: Sebringville, Ontario
• Reports to: Safety & Compliance Coordinator
• Dispatch: International Dispatch
• Schedule: Long-Haul (Extended Trips)
• Compensation: Mileage-based compensation of $0.56 – $0.69 per mile, with applicable hourly rates for certain duties and assignments.

Position Summary

Operate company equipment to transport freight on cross-border routes in a safe, efficient, and professional manner, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable Canadian and international transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport freight on cross-border routes, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
• Complete long-haul deliveries with a focus on on-time performance
• Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. (FMCSA/DOT) regulations
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Secure loads and ensure safe handling practices
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and cross-border documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Ensure all customs and border documentation is accurate
• Represent Woodcock Transportation Group professionally at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• ValidAZ Driver’s License
• Minimum 1+ year experience (open to strong candidates)
• Valid Passport (required)
• FAST Card (asset or willingness to obtain)
• Strong understanding of long-haul and cross-border operations (preferred)
• Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
• Legally entitled to work in Canada

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Extended periods on the road and away from home
• Exposure to varying weather conditions
• Physical activity including securing loads and equipment handling
• Ability to lift up to45 kg (100 lbs) when required
