PBX Operator

Essential Functions

• Answer and operate the resort’s PBX telephone system in a professional and courteous manner.
• Route incoming calls to the appropriate departments and associates.
• Assist guests with resort information, amenities, dining reservations, activities, and general inquiries.
• Process guest requests and dispatch work orders to Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments as needed.
• Schedule and deliver accurate wake-up calls.
• Respond to guest concerns and ensure proper follow-up through established service recovery procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of resort amenities, services, operating hours, and special events.
• Support emergency communication procedures and understand resort radio and communication protocols.
• Accurately document guest requests, complaints, and service issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining Omni's standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, call center, front desk, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel operating systems.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, friendly, and positive demeanor.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods and occasionally stand, reach, and lift up to 15 pounds.

Schedule

Seasonal, Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak resort periods.
