Facility Support Attendant - 2nd Shift

2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

You will get to be the face of The Missouri Botanical Garden during your shift. You may interact with Garden employees, visitors, vendors, and donors.Under generalsupervision, performs andmaintains the internal and external appearance of the Garden. Paid training will beprovided to ensure you are ready and prepared to welcome visitors to The Missouri Botanical Garden. 

WhatYou’ll Do (Highlights) 

• Perform general daily housekeeping duties
• Event Set-up duties require setting up tables, chairs
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to visitors and employeesat all times
• Ensure that all recycled compost and landfill materials are placed in the correct containers
• Reports all accidents, injuries, and near-miss accidents immediately to your supervisor
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, washing surfaces, emptying trash, and other duties as assigned 

WhatYou’ll NeedFor Success 

• Mustpossess and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Be willing to learn new procedures
• Present a professional attitude at all times under the scrutiny of thegeneral public
• Meet productivity standards
• Ability to readinstructions and to understandthelabel on cleaning products
• Ability to multitask in a sometimes fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 30-60 pounds
• Ability and willingness to work in varying temperatures and all-weather conditions
• Ability towork days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Additional Details: 

This position starts at $16.00 per hour.
