We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team as aWall Assembler in the Wall Department. This team is responsible for fabricating, insulating and assembling wall panels for air handling units.

Your Responsibilities:

• Panel Fabrication:Construct and assemble wall panels according to specifications, following blueprints to ensure accuracy and structural integrity
• Insulation Application: Apply insulation materials and lining to panels
• Measurement and Precision: Use measuring tools to ensure precise cuts, alignments and assembly of panels
• Tool Use: Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, including drills and fastening devices
• Independent Work: Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

What We’re Looking For:

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of construction experience (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of skilled labour experience (preferred)

Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable transportation required

Job Details:

Job Type: Full-time, Indoor

Location: Kingston, ON (On-Site)

Starting Wage: $21.80 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience  

Shift Schedule:

• Rotating early mornings and afternoon shifts
  • Monday – Friday: 5:45 am – 2:15 pm
  • Monday – Thursday: 2:30 pm – 12:30 am
• Every other Friday off
• Weekend shifts not required
• Occasional overtime available based on production requirements
