Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate performs warehouse, production, and material-handling activities that support the processing, storage, and movement of donated goods and inventory. This hands-on role is essential to the success of our retail and mission operations.

What You'll Do

• Sort, organize, package, and prepare donated goods and materials for processing or shipment.
• Move, stage, stock, and store merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Load textiles and other materials into designated equipment and production areas.
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory and donations.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery as trained.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as assigned.
• Load and unload trucks while following all safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
• Follow all Goodwill Columbus policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or potential risks promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and grasp throughout the workday.
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements.
• Work in a physically active environment for extended periods.

Work Environment

• Warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Work around moving equipment, machinery, and materials.
• Safety-focused workplace requiring adherence to established procedures.
