About the Role

As a Birthing Center RN, you will provide professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum and varying levels of acuity, with a focus on obstetric, postpartum, newborn, and women's health services. You will play an essential role in supporting patients and families throughout their healthcare journey while collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and evaluate patient needs
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Document patient assessments and interventions in the EMR
• Coordinate care activities and communicate effectively with providers and team members
• Collaborate with ancillary departments to ensure quality patient care
• Participate in quality improvement and performance enhancement initiatives

What You Bring

• Education -Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN or ADN)
• Licensure -Current Montana RN license or compact RN license.License must be in good standing with no disciplinary action or active investigation
• Certifications -Basic Life Support (BLS) required.  ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring within six months of hire. Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) required, with International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) preferred within the first year of hire
• Experience -Completion of an RN Residency Program or a minimum of two years of RN experience
• Skills -Strong clinical assessment, care coordination, and critical thinking skills.Ability to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.Computer proficiency and EMR experience preferred
