The Expeditor will expedite material from a variety of vendors to our warehouse and to specific jobsiteÂ
locations. The Expediter performs a variety of receiving and warehousing duties requiring anÂ
understanding of the Government and Wolf Creek Property management and storage includingÂ
receiving and issuing materials through a computerized inventory system.Â
Essential Duties & Job Functions:Â
• Receives and issues materials through a computerized inventory system.Â
• Accept materials from vendors by receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies.Â
• Routes materials to prescribed locations.Â
• Verifies incoming shipment deliveries against delivery ticket to find, report, verify and correctÂ
shipment discrepancies while in the presence of the transporting party.Â
• Organizes, arranges, and inventories stored materials to maintain integrity of overall supply systemÂ
and records.Â
• Based on specific guidance, examines stored materials to determine deterioration or damage thatÂ
may result in actual loss of property.Â
• Operates hand truck and/or forklift to move material from one area to another.Â
• Performs all work in a safe manner in accordance with safety practices and procedures.Â
• Plans, organizes work and meets all deadlines.Â
• Assists other department staff as needed or directed.Â
• Assists personnel to obtain the correct inventory stock numbers.Â
• Helps perform periodic stock inventories and prepare material requisitions for replacement items asÂ
required.Â
• Performs various lower classified duties such as (but not limited to) file maintenance, workspaceÂ
cleanup, maintain warehouse space and telephone answering as required.Â
• Coordinates with other trade and warehouse personnel in the identification of proper and correctÂ
materials, parts assemblies and requirements for a variety of requisitions necessary for the job/task.Â
• Adheres to the established Wolf Creek safety and personnel policies and standard operatingÂ
procedures.Â
• Expedites material to/from the local area and Fairbanks, AK utilizing government GSA vehicles.  Â
• Performs other duties as assignedÂ

• Working with the Logistics Supervisor and Business Manager to outline work to be done, after whichÂ
incumbent is expected to work independently.Â
• Adherence to established CGS, LLC safety policies and good industrial and office safety practices. Â
• Compliance with CGS, LLC Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies and procedures.Â
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations):Â
Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent GED.Â
• Two (2) year of supply and/or warehouse experience.Â
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage conflicting priorities and to accomplish a variety ofÂ
tasks in any single day.Â
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Â
• Basic understanding/knowledge of hazardous, safety and environmental warnings.Â
• Familiarity with basic mathematical functionsÂ
• Knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools.Â
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diverse situations.Â
• Must obtain and maintain a DOD security interim clearance at the secret level within 3 months.Â
• Mature judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.Â
• U.S. Citizenship.Â
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and team lift 75 pounds.Â
• Ability to meet and carry out requirements for operation of powered industrial equipment includingÂ
hand pallets and fork trucksÂ
• Ability to successfully pass any employment background check and/or drug testing as required onÂ
the contract.Â
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record as pertinent to the position.Â
PreferredÂ
• Three (3) years of experience in the field of logistics or supply.Â
• Experience in the handling and management of government propertyÂ
• One (1) year of experience using a computerized inventory management database systemÂ
preferably Maximo.Â
• Current SECRET Security ClearanceÂ
• One (1) year of computer experience using Microsoft Word and ExcelÂ
• Experience maintaining supply documentation or property inventory filesÂ
• Construction and/or maintenance knowledge.Â
