Security Officer Rotating - Security-TB

Role overview: 

Security Officersare responsible for ensuring the completion of all tasks by supporting the Supervisor in and contributing to the safe working environment, preventing loss/damage to company property.  

Responsibilities: 

Ensure that all security policies arecomplied with andenforced  

Regular patrolling of the site to prevent unauthorised access and prevent the appropriation of companyproperty  

Adhere to all company policies and ensure you are working within health and safetyguidelines 

Search staffin accordance with current procedures/policies  

Be professional and courteous at alltimes 

Any other reasonable activities in line with the needs of the business  

Ensure staff/contractors/visitors are booked incorrectly 

Ensure all equipment is booked in/out 

Book supplier’s vehicles in and ensure all vehicles are sealed on arrival/departure  

Skills and Experience:

Experience of working to health and safety requirements  

Basic computer literacy skills 

Able to work under pressure in a busyenvironment  

Works well as part of a team; supportive of others 

Communicateseffectively  

Respond to issues quickly, positively in a fast paced and changingenvironment 

Experience of working in the security industry - Desirable  

Knowledge of common law powers in relation to detaining potential offenders – Desirable
