Security Officer Rotating - Security-TA

Role overview: 

Security Officersare responsible for ensuring the completion of all tasks by supporting the Supervisor in and contributing to the safe working environment, preventing loss/damage to company property.  

Responsibilities:  

• Ensure that all security policies arecomplied with andenforced  

• Regular patrolling of the site to prevent unauthorised access and prevent the appropriation of companyproperty  

• Adhere to all company policies and ensure you are working within health and safetyguidelines  

• Search staffin accordance with current procedures/policies  

• Be professional and courteous at alltimes  

• Any other reasonable activities in line with the needs of the business  

• Ensure staff/contractors/visitors are booked incorrectly  

• Ensure all equipment is booked in/out  

• Book supplier’s vehicles in and ensure all vehicles are sealed on arrival/departure  

Skills and Experience: 

• Experience of working to health and safety requirements  

• Basic computer literacy skills  

• Able to work under pressure in a busyenvironment  

• Works well as part of a team; supportive of others  

• Communicateseffectively  

• Respond to issues quickly, positively in a fast paced and changingenvironment  

• Experience of working in the security industry - Desirable  

• Knowledge of common law powers in relation to detaining potential offenders – Desirable
