The Integrated Metering Alliance (IMA) is the team that provides new and replacement meters, water saving initiatives and develops new ways to better service our customers. This area of Anglian Water has a whole host of roles and opportunities available, from operational frontline work to project management, data analysis and more.

What you will be doing as our IMA Project Analyst

This role will, working for one of the IMA Project Managers, support the delivery of initiatives and projects within IMA.

It will support the delivery of all these initiatives and projects to agreed time, cost and quality whilst identifying and mitigating the risks, dependencies and issues as they occur.

In this role they will gain knowledge of project systems, process review, continuous improvement, implementing best practice and improving customer service. The individual should be someone who is looking to progress their career within and beyond the Alliance. The individual should be forward thinking, have a collaborative approach and must champion innovation.

They must have excellent communication skills and be able work at all levels of the organization.  They should have excellent organizational skills and be self motivated to deliver results. They must be able to drive.

This role sits within the IMA Alliance and is hosted by Kier/Clancy and Anglian Water. As part of the ‘Best for Task’ principle that allows roles to be filled across the IMA Alliance with the most appropriate skills, you are welcome to apply for this role regardless of your home organisation.

If you are successful in your application for this role you will remain employed by your home organisation on your substantive terms and conditions but will fill a vacancy hosted by a different partner organisation  

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with teams and analyse current service failures to identify areas for process improvement
• Assist in the development and review of processes from both an operational and customer perspective
• Work with the IMA Project Manager to identify literature/communications used within the process and review.
• Work with the Training and Development Manager and Analyst to plan training and development. 
• Produce highlight reports for the IMA Strategy & Change Team and performance information for the IMA Change dashboard.
• Manage risks, issues and dependency logs for the project.
• Set up meetings and boards in line with programme governance
• Support the development of business cases identifying all elements of the project including assessment of costs and benefits
• Manage small continuous improvement projects
• Create a communications plan for these projects and manage stakeholders
• Create and implement a delivery plan to project methodology

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the internal business and external stakeholders
• Knowledge of the job management system (SAP)
• Thorough knowledge of the processes within IMA and the customer touch-points
• Must have excellent customer awareness
• Must be able to work with people at all levels of the business
• Ability to present complex messages with succinct clarity
