Job Description Summary

Provide additional value to our clients, both internal and external, by verifying the transition process cross functionally has been followed and all transition tasks for each individual assignment has been completed. Lead and command the internal and external clients through the transition process with exceptional organization, communication, and rationale to provide a comprehensive and positive experience.

Job Description

ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Maybe responsible for one or more of the following: 

  • Plan, analyze and complete all required tasks of onboardingandoffboardingnewly awardedMultifamilyproperty management assignments with minimal guidance and/or supervision using department tools 

  • Lead communication amongregionalpropertymanagers,clientaccounting,corporateaccounting,human Resources,technology &datasolutions,ancillaryservicesteam,conversionteam, external service providers,and clients involved in the property transition 

  • Deliver a positive client (internal and external) experience during onboarding and offboarding 

  • Identify unique transition needs andutilize critical thinking skills to plan and outline the best workflow to accommodate internal partners and external clients 

  • Serve as knowledge hub for both external clients and internal partners for all aspects of property transitions 

  • Operate withthehighest data integrity across allplatformsina timely andefficient manner  

  • Understand parameters in place for quality assuranceas well as the ability to self-audit 

  • Review new opportunity pipeline, pricing, and notification process with thorough understanding of impact ofaccurate andtimely data for financial planning, project creation, and national statistics 

  • Excellent writtenand verbal communicationwith all internal partners and external clientsacross all platforms  

  • Collaborate with team members and fully align with the delineation of duties to complete all required tasks and deliverables  

  • Ability todiscern ahigh-risk task or deliverable and the knowledge oftimingand whotobestescalate issues to  

  • Effectively lead and manage multiple transitions all atvarious stages of completion simultaneouslyatan elevated level of data integrity and service to internal partners and external clients  

  • Identify areas of improvement needed on internal processes for onboarding and offboarding andprovide solutions for process change and technology solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency 

  • Participate in regulartouch baseswith your manager tofacilitate personal and department goals, work through challenging transitions and enhance the culture of the team through personal development  

  • Promote consistent best practices for property transitionsby sharing learned experiences with the team as well as update internal process documents or suggesting improvements to workflows  

  • Collaborate with account managers RVPs (Regional Vice Presidents), andRPMs (Regional Property Managers) to field questions,establish solutions, and create/improve tools 

  • Serve as a change champion and remain flexible 

  • Maintainexpertise and resolve all property management issues and questions around property onboarding and offboarding 

  • Ability to lead, create, assigndeliverables and outline timing projections for ad hoc projects  

  • Interpret complex revenue and expense categories as it relates to client invoicing - including but not limited to payroll reimbursement, fee revenue, due from client expenses 

  • Understand and communicate employee allocations and related Workday work tags 

  • Promote andmonitor compliance requirements for bothSOC controls,SOX controls, and property operations 

  • Deliver presentations to clients during pitches 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor's degree 

  • 3+ years of relevant experience 

  • Or any similar combination of education and experience 

  • Experience inmultifamily real estate and basic accounting knowledge, including understanding Property Management function (preferred) 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook 

  • Ability to understand and interpret complex real estate terminology 

  • Effective and efficient time management skills 

  • Detail oriented, organized, and thorough 

  • Proven record ofproviding excellent internal and external customer service 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with high initiative, flexibility, and team approach to work 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to include ability to create and hold presentations 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours 

  • May involve periods of standing, such asoperating at a copier/fax/scanner 

  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type 

  • Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you 

  • Regularly required toutilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays  

  • Ability toobserve details at close range

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 68,000.00 - $80,000.00
