Position Summary
The Loss Adjuster plays a critical role in AgCentric’s claims operations by conducting field inspections, evaluating crop damage, and determining accurate indemnity payments in accordance with MPCI program guidelines. This position requires strong agricultural knowledge, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of RMA procedures and compliance standards.What will your job entail?
Job ResponsibilitiesÂ
Conduct field inspections to assess crop damage and verify loss conditions in accordance with RMA and MPCI program standardsÂ
Collect and document relevant data including planting records, production history, and physical evidence of lossÂ
Complete and submit accurate claim documentation within required timeframes, ensuring compliance with federal and carrier guidelinesÂ
Communicate professionally with policyholders and agents to explain findings, gather information, and resolve discrepanciesÂ
Utilize approved adjusting tools and software to calculate indemnities and finalize claimsÂ
Maintain current knowledge of crop types, farming practices, and regional agricultural conditions relevant to assigned territoriesÂ
Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to maintain adjuster proficiency and licensing requirementsÂ
Collaborate with claims leadership and QA personnel during periodic evaluations and reviews, including participation in TPER and TPEP processesÂ
Adhere to company policies and ethical standards while representing AgCentric in the fieldÂ
Other loss adjusting duties and projects as assignedÂ
Work Experience and EducationÂ
Bachelor’s degree preferredÂ
2+ years of progressive experience working with crop insurance claimsÂ
Â
Licenses & CertificationsÂ
CAPP – Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program accreditation requiredÂ
Valid driver’s licenseÂ

Technical/Functional SkillsÂ
MPCI loss adjustment procedures and guidelinesÂ
Field inspection and crop damage assessmentÂ
Crop appraisal methodologies and documentationÂ
Policyholder and agent communicationÂ

The target salary range for this position is $71,225.00 - $82,500.00 annually.The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
