Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 Â
Computer Literate – AdvantageousÂ
Ability to communicate in EnglishÂ
Key Responsibilities:
Stack and store products in a safe and tidy mannerÂ
Merchandise products according to laid down standardsÂ
Correctly price random weight/loose selling itemsÂ
Check correct pricing e.g. labelsÂ
Check quality, rotate stock, remove expired stockÂ
Prevent wastage/shrinkage/damagesÂ
Check temperatures/maintain the cold chain (if applicable)Â
Adhere to and maintain security proceduresÂ
Operate and clean equipment according to laid down standardsÂ
Approach and advise customers on the product, listen to customers’ requests, provide the required product or services and handle customers in a courteous and business-like mannerÂ
Process all customer orders according the correct procedures and service standardsÂ
Promote productsÂ
