Due to continued growth, we are seeking aJunior CAD Technician to join our establishedTransport & Mobility Planning team, delivering highâqualitytransport and highways drawings and plans for projects across the UK.
Based in our London office, the role will focus primarily onproducing transportârelated drawings using industryâstandard CAD software, with additional exposure tosite measurements, data collection and multiâdisciplinary project support, as well as a small amount of othercrossâsector work spanning planning, infrastructure and builtâenvironment projects.
The Role
Youâll support the delivery oftransport and highways design projects from initial data collection through to final drawing production, working closely with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams. The role includes:
- Producing highâquality plans, drawings, diagrams and data outputs for planning applications, public consultation and public inquiry.
- Ensuring all outputs comply with SLR CAD drawing standards, while developing your understanding of relevant design standards.
- Undertaking onâsite measurements and data collection to inform design work.
- Supporting Transport Planning teams by preparing plans using a range of CAD and design software (AutoCAD, Map 3D, KeySIGNS, KeyLINES, GIS, Adobe Illustrator, Vehicle Tracking).
- Maintaining continuous professional development, including attending training as required.
- Complying with operational requirements and maintaining accurate records.
Youâll collaborate with colleagues across Transport Planning, Infrastructure, Environmental and Built Environment teams, with opportunities for involvement in a wide range of UK projects.

About You
Youâll bring:
- Experience usingAutoCAD andVehicle Tracking software.
- Experience with additional software packages (e.g. Civil 3D, Map 3D, KeyLINES, KeySIGNS, Adobe Illustrator) is advantageous.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
