Senior Engineer- Software Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience building full-stack solutions using .NET Core for backend services and TypeScript with ReactJS/Next.js for modern web frontends, paired with deep expertise in AWS technologies — including DynamoDB, EventBridge, Lambda, and S3. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading projects, actively contributing to sprint design, and mentoring team members, with a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable, and efficient software across the full stack.

What will you do?

Software Development

Design, code, and implement full-stack software solutions using .NET Core (backend/APIs) and TypeScript-based ReactJS/Next.js (frontend). Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable applications end to end.

Technical Design and Architecture

Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to define technical vision, system architecture, and integration of AWS services and frontend frameworks. Contribute to the design of software components, ensuring scalability, performance, and adherence to best practices — including serverless-first patterns where appropriate.

AWS Services Integration

Utilize AWS services such as DynamoDB, EventBridge, Lambda, S3, and others to design and implement robust, efficient, serverless solutions. Integrate applications with these services, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Frontend Engineering

Build responsive, performant, type-safe user interfaces with TypeScript, React, and Next.js (SSR/SSG, App Router, API routes). Ensure clean integration between frontend applications and .NET Core/serverless backends.

Database Integration

Design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval in DynamoDB. Integrate and synchronize data across databases and AWS services.

Testing and Quality Assurance

Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards across backend and frontend code. Build and maintain automated test coverage. Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve issues.

CI/CD and DevOps

Build and maintain GitLab CI pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment across environments, supporting serverless deployments (Lambda, S3, CloudFormation/CDK/Serverless Framework).

Continuous Improvement

Stay current with .NET Core, TypeScript, React/Next.js, AWS, and AI-assisted development tooling. Identify opportunities for process improvement, code optimization, and enhanced developer workflows — including adopting AI coding assistants to boost team velocity and code quality.

Collaboration and Leadership

Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to align development efforts with requirements. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers across both backend and frontend disciplines.

Troubleshooting and Support

Investigate and resolve complex technical issues in development and production. Support end users/clients to ensure smooth operation of applications.

What do you need to know?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with .NET Core, with strong AWS-based project experience.
• Working experience with TypeScript, ReactJS, and Next.js for building production frontend applications.
• Expertise in AWS services, including DynamoDB, EventBridge, and Lambda; solid understanding of S3 and serverless architectures.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitLab CI.
• Proven track record of leading projects and delivering high-quality software solutions end to end.
• Deep understanding of software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns across full-stack applications.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across distributed, serverless systems.
• Excellent mentoring and leadership abilities, with a passion for developing junior engineers.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Good to have

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) to accelerate coding, code review, and testing workflows.
• Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines for serverless and containerized deployments.
• Experience with Playwright (or similar) for end-to-end and browser automation testing.
• AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are highly desirable.
