OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE​

We are seeking a strategically minded, commercially astutePeople Product Strategist to drive data-led decision making across our global People (HR) product ecosystem. Our role focuses on strategic thinking and research to empower better business decisions, rather than direct execution or delivery against initiatives.

In Flutter's global operating model, ownership of People products (e.g. Workday, Benifex, Equate Plus, AI tools) sits across multiple brands and functions. Your role is to bring expert knowledge of guiding People Products through strategy and support the business in achieving its goals -bringing clarity, structure, and insight to complex product and investment decisions.

You will work closely with senior HR, Technology, Procurement, and Finance stakeholders, translating strategic priorities intovalue-driven product roadmapsandinvestment decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR  

1. Driving Strategic Alignment in a Federated Model 

• Partner with senior HR and business leaders to shape People Product Strategy
• Translate business priorities into clear, measurable objectives, showing a key interest in the 'Why' behind their needs
• Influence product roadmap direction across regions without direct ownership

2. Product Lifecycle and Portfolio Optimisation 

• Evaluate product performance, adoption and value realisation 
• Identify opportunities for consolidation, optimisation and decommissioning 
• Enable scalable, standardised solutions across business

3. Commercial and Vendor Value Management 

• Manage strategic supplier relationships across People Tech landscape
• Partner closely with Procurement onRFPs, renewals and contract optimizations
• Drive cost efficiency, commercial value and improve capability utilisation 
• Hold vendors accountable through performance and value tracking

4. ROI and Value Realisation 

• Build robust business cases and investment frameworks 
• Track ROI, cost savings, and business impact of People products
• Use data, benchmarking, and market insights to guide decisions
• Embed a value-first mindset across all product investments

5. Innovation, AI & Automation 

• Champion responsible AI, automation, and digital innovation across HR 
• Identify opportunities to employee experience and operational efficiency
• Support enterprise-wide HR transformation and digital innovation
• Introduce forward-looking innovation aligned to enterprise strategy 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Experience

• 5 to 8 years in Product Management and/or HR Technology roles
• Proven experience in creating product strategies, roadmaps and establishing product goals in a global organization
• Experience operating withinmatrixed or federatedglobal organizations
• Demonstrated success inbuilding business cases andtracking ROI
