As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving project requirements, ensuring that solutions are aligned with organizational goals. The position demands a proactive approach to application development, involving collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective software solutions that support business operations and enhance overall productivity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices and standards within the team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software development with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Palantir Foundry, MySQL, Python (Programming Language), PySpark.
- Strong experience in application design and development using Palantir Foundry platform.
- Ability to write efficient and maintainable code in Python and PySpark for data processing and integration.
- Expertise in database management and query optimization using MySQL.
- Familiarity with configuring and customizing software applications to meet complex business requirements.
- Capability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within software applications and data workflows.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Palantir Foundry.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
