The postholder will undertake routine administration, data processing, document management, inbox management, reporting activities and stakeholder support while maintaining high levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service.
The Service Support Administrator will work collaboratively across multiple departments to ensure administrative processes are completed efficiently and in accordance with contractual, business and compliance requirements.

What youâll be doing:
Complete a range of administrative tasks in line with agreed service levels and business priorities
Maintain accurate records across business systems and databases.
Process documentation, correspondence and requests in a timely manner.
Support shared mailboxes and ensure queries are actioned or escalated appropriately.
Produce routine reports, trackers and management information as required.
Ensure all documentation is stored and managed in accordance with GDPR and information governance requirements.
Support meeting administration, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation and recording actions where required.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain information and resolve administrative queries.
Support governance and audit activities through the preparation and maintenance of accurate records.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding, people administration and operational support activities where required.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all Capita, DWP and DfC policies, procedures and mandatory training requirements.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the business.

Essential Experience/Skills:Â
Previous experience in an administrative, business support or customer service role.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Desirable Experience/Skills:Â
Experience working within a regulated, contractual or operational environment.
Knowledge of DWP, DfC or healthcare-related processes.
Experience producing reports and maintaining spreadsheets.
Experience of SharePoint and workflow management systems.

The purpose of the assessment is to understand how an illness or disability affects a personâs daily life.
