About the RoleĀ
As a Market Intelligence Officer within theāÆIntelligence & Insights team at Sydney Future Students, you will play a key role in researching, analysing, and interpreting market intelligence to support domestic and international student recruitment across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Ā
Youāll collaborate closely with the Market Intelligence Specialist to deliver high-quality insights through both primary and secondary research. Your work will inform strategic and operational recruitment decisions and enhance our understanding of student behaviour, market trends, and competitive positioning.Ā
You will provide project management and research support services to ensure efficient coordination, maximised productivity and that client needs are met on time.Ā

Key ResponsibilitiesĀ
- Help conductquantitative and/or qualitative research, including surveys, recruitment, focus groups, interviews, and mystery shopping.Ā
- PerformāÆdesk researchāÆand monitor higher education reports to identify emerging trends.Ā
- Analyse and interpret primary and secondary data to produceāÆclear, actionable reports and presentations.Ā
- Share insights with internal stakeholders to support recruitment strategies, decision-making and enhanced understanding of student channels.Ā

- A solid understanding ofāÆsales and marketing principles, student recruitment, consumer behaviour, and the higher education landscape.Ā
- Be a specialist with strong competence in one research discipline (quantitative or qualitative) or dualist with strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative researcher with proven experience in project managementĀ Ā
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.Ā
- Analytical proficiency using tools such asāÆExcel, SPSS, DisplayR, Qualtrics, Alteryx, M, or Python.Ā
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply sound judgment.Ā
