Accountant (REIT)

Lendlease Singapore is currently looking for aREIT Accountant to join our finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Track and analyze property Revenue, operating expenses (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX) against budgets.
• Prepare and support property-level cash flow projection
• Review and validate REIT accounting transactions.
• Prepare quarterly, and annual financial performance packs for submission to the REIT Manager.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Prepare and submit quarterly Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns.
• Assist in property tax submissions, corporate tax computations, and facilitate internal and external audit requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, REIT Finance and other stakeholders.
• Provide backup support for month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal preparation and account reconciliations.
• Work on ad hoc projects and initiatives at the direction of the Senior Finance Manager

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, REIT, real estate, or property fund accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standard, GST, and Singapore corporate tax requirements.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems with strong analytical skills.
• Meticulous, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Good analytical and communication skills with the ability to interpret financial information.
