Role Purpose:Â
Are you an experienced leader with a background with a mechanical aptitude, ready to take on a pivotal role in an exciting, large-scale project? We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the execution of critical assembly operations. In this dynamic role, you will manage diverse teams, ensure quality compliance, and play a key part in achieving ambitious production goals. Effective project control, monitoring and reporting are fundamental to being successful in the role.Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
• Oversee the execution of racking and conveyance system installationÂ
• Monitor and ensuring daily and weekly targets are being metÂ
• Manage vendor teams as they install and commission specified equipment.Â
• Drive production efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to quality and safety standards.Â
• Conduct routine quality control checks to ensure all builds meet specifications and client expectations.Â
• Quickly address and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain compliance.Â
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment, motivating teams to excel in performance.Â
• Perform PM status reports as required by the client and PAC leadership.Â
• Collaborate with logistics teams to maintain consistent material flow to workstations and proactively address supply chain challenges.Â
• Complete project closure reporting and lessons learned documentationÂ
• Uphold the highest level of safety on the worksite, through safety walks, tool box talks, reporting Â
Required Qualifications:Â
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (preferred).Â
• Equivalent hands-on experience in project management roles will also be considered.Â
• 5+ years of experience in related project management roles.Â
• Mechanical aptitude is required, with electrical knowledge strongly preferred.Â
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage multiple priorities, and ensure timely execution.Â
• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentationÂ
• Proactive at addressing tasks and risksÂ
• Safety centric individualÂ
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Â
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and operational best practices.Â
• Experience in equipment assembly or construction environments, managing large-scale operations. Â
Preferred Qualifications:Â
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when necessaryÂ
• OSHA certification – construction (nice to have but not required)Â
• Travel up to 100%Â
The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, education, and qualifications.
