Role: Staff NOC Analyst (5 - 8years)

Location: Bangalore (24/7 Shift Environment)

Role Summary

We are looking for a Cloud Operations & Staff NOC Analyst who will act as the first line of operational defense for enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, and applications. This role requires strong real-time monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting capabilities, along with a proactive mindset toward improving operational processes and reducing alert noise.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring & Incident Management

  • Monitor infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms using tools such asNew Relic, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, or GCP Monitoring
  • Performreal-time alert triage, validation, and troubleshootingĀ to restore services quickly
  • Act as thefirst responder for incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact
  • Identifyfalse positives and reduce alert noiseĀ through analysis and tuningĀ 

Incident Handling & Escalation

  • Own and managehigh-priority incidentsĀ (P1/P2), including:Ā 
  • Driving incident bridges
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams (SRE, CloudOps, Network, Security)
  • Tracking progress until resolution
  • Escalate complex issues withclear documentation and impact analysis

Operations & Process Execution

  • Executerunbooks and SOPsĀ for standard incidents and operational tasks
  • Contribute tocreating and improving runbooksĀ based on recurring issues
  • Perform routinehealth checks on servers, networks, and failover systems

Maintenance & Reliability

  • Monitor systems duringmaintenance windowsĀ and validate post-change stability
  • Ensureredundancy mechanisms (failover, load balancers)Ā are functioning
  • Monitorbackups, batch jobs, and scheduled processes, resolving failures proactively

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurateincident records in ticketing systems (Jira/ServiceNow)
  • Contribute todaily/weekly operational health and performance reports
  • SupportRCA documentation and post-incident reviews

Security Awareness

  • Identify potentialsecurity-related anomaliesĀ and escalate to SOC/security teams

Required Skills

  • Experience withmonitoring & alerting tools:Ā 
    • New Relic / Datadog / Prometheus / Grafana
    • Cloud monitoring (AWS / GCP)
    • PagerDuty or similar alerting systems
    • Basic knowledge ofcloud environments and application availability & performance
    • Familiarity withfirewalls and security principles
  • Good understanding ofOn Prem, Cloud Infra, VMs, EC2 Instances & EKS Clusters
  • Basic understanding ofnetworking fundamentals & protocols

Operational Skills

  • Strongtroubleshooting and analytical thinking
  • Experience inincident management and escalation workflows
  • Ability to work in ahigh-pressure, 24/7 operations environment
  • Gooddocumentation and communication skills

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5 - 8 yearsĀ in NOC / Infrastructure Monitoring / Cloud Operations / SOC
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or related field
  • Experience working inenterprise or SaaS environmentsĀ preferred

Good-to-Have Certifications

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Google Associate Cloud Engineer
  • CompTIA Cloud+
  • ITIL V4 or V5
  • CCNA
