Safety Coordinator, TX

Safety Worxs is seeking Spanish bilingual Safety Coordinators local to the Florence, TXarea to support a commercial construction project.  Must be local, there is not per diem for this role. 

Requirements:

• OSHA 510 minimum
• 3 - 5 years of construction safety experience
• Local to Florence, TX
• Spanish bilingual

Duties include but not limited to:

• Support compliance with the safety program
• Conduct site inspections of project work areas and equipment.
• Perform and document jobsite inspections and audits with a focus on hazard recognition and unsafe behaviors.
• Coordinate and conduct safety meetings/training programs to ensure effective communication amongst new and existing employees.
• Carry out any other assigned tasks given by the site Safety Manager.

Benefits:

• 50 hours + OT Pay after 40 hours
• 5-6 month assignment
• $35 - $40 /hr. Depending on Experience
