Data Analyst V

itD is seeking aData Analyst V (Senior Marketing Analyst – Audience Strategy & Insights) to drive audience segmentation, revenue opportunity sizing, and strategic insights for Company’s Business Messaging Marketing team. This role will translate complex data into actionable recommendations that influence business, product, and investment decisions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise inmarketing analytics and audience strategy and a proven track record of deliveringend-to-end segmentation, quantitative business cases, and executive-level insights.

Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA / New York, NY / Menlo Park, CA)

Pay Rate:$45 - $46.80 per hour, depending on experience

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities

• Deliver deep audience analysis including segmentation, lifecycle, funnel, churn, and revenue attribution insights
• Define analytical approaches, methodologies, and assumptions to answer complex business questions
• Extract, clean, and analyze large-scale datasets using advanced SQL across multiple data sources
• Partner with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to define business logic, data models, and pipeline requirements
• Build automated reporting solutions and self-service dashboards to support recurring business needs
• Translate audience insights into actionable segments for marketing campaigns and lifecycle programs
• Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

Internal Responsibilities

• Attend regular internal practice community meetings
• Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
• Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
• Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
• Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
• Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, or data science
• Expert-levelSQL skills (complex queries, CTEs, window functions, query optimization)
• Proven experience withend-to-end audience/customer analysis (segmentation, lifecycle, funnel, revenue sizing)
• Experience working withlarge, multi-source datasets (CRM, product, engagement data)
• Experience buildingautomated reporting and dashboards (Tableau or similar BI tools)
• Strong ability totranslate data into actionable insights and influence stakeholders
• Experience collaborating withdata engineering and data science teams to define pipelines and data models

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Experience withpipeline orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow or equivalent)
• Familiarity withcustomer data platforms (CDP), preferably Salesforce Data Cloud
• Experience withmarketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
• Knowledge ofstatistical modeling (propensity, LTV, attribution, forecasting)
• Basic proficiency inPython for automation and data workflows
• Experience withlarge-scale data environments (Hive, distributed query systems, or similar)
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or business field, or equivalent work experience required
