About the Role
As a Mid-Level Fullstack Developer at CodeRoad, you will serve as a technical anchor driving the evolution of an enterprise-grade Item Chain Management platform. Working with a 70% Backend / 30% Frontend focus, you will architect, build, and optimize high-throughput web applications and scalable microservices powered by modern Java standards. You will collaborate closely with Software Architects, Tech Leads, and Product Managers within agile PODs to transform complex item-level data into real-time operational intelligence for global retail and industrial leaders.
This role is critical to delivering low-latency, high-availability solutions that manage the lifecycle of billions of unique product identities from source to sale. By owning end-to-end features—from designing resilient RESTful APIs with modern Spring tooling to crafting responsive React frontends and deploying through automated CI/CD pipelines—you will directly impact platform scalability, system resilience, and high-value business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, high-availability backend microservices usingJava 21,Spring, andSpring Boot, paired with robust relational databases likeOracle PL/SQL andMySQL.
- Build and refine responsive, user-centric front-end interfaces usingJavaScript (ES5/ES6),ReactJS, and legacy frameworks likeExtJS.
- Optimize and maintain system performance through low-latency API design, load testing withJMeter, and proactive observability usingNew Relic andSplunk.
- Own end-to-end delivery by writing clean, highly testable code and leveraging automated CI/CD pipelines built onJenkins,Docker, andKubernetes.
- Collaborate and lead code quality through structured code reviews, technical inquiries, and close alignment across cross-functional engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, participating in scheduled on-call rotations to ensure maximum system uptime and operational reliability.
Requirements
- Years of Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on 70% Backend / 30% Frontend development.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise inJava 21,Spring / Spring Boot,Oracle PL/SQL,MySQL,JavaScript (ES5/ES6),ReactJS, andExtJS.
- Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience withAWS,Jenkins,Docker, andKubernetes.
- Testing & Observability: Strong foundation in software testing fundamentals, alongside hands-on experience withJMeter,New Relic, andSplunk.
- Language Proficiency:Advanced English (written and verbal) is strictly required for seamless daily collaboration with US-based stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: Strong ownership mindset, keen attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and an active drive to automate repetitive workflows.
Nice to Have
- Practical exposure toAI-assisted development tools and workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, RAG implementations).
- Experience with enterprise persistence frameworks likeHibernate orSpring Data JPA.
