About the Job

• Provide effectiveindividual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting.
• Provide direct patient care, conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe medications as clinically appropriate.
• Ensure all patient care is delivered in accordance withapplicable laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
• We are not affiliated with any hospitals or clinics, allowing clinicians the autonomy to practice in the best interest of their patients without unnecessary corporate administrative interference.
• Work within collaborative clinical teams consisting ofmultiple therapists and a psychiatric prescriber. During onboarding, you will have the opportunity to connect with eligible psychotherapists seeking a prescriber to join their team, with team matching facilitated by BlueSky.
• Participate in regular staffing with collaborating therapists,at least monthly, to discuss patient cases, treatment coordination, and clinical topics.
• Provide clinical services remotely from your home.Days and hours are flexible and determined by the clinician, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Participate in virtual clinical team meetings.
• Attend BlueSky's clinical conferences, which are heldfour times per week. Attendance is required at leastonce per week during the first 90 days of employment andonce per month thereafter.

Job Requirements

• Must hold anactive, unrestricted PMHNP license in at least one of the states we serve:AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, or WA.
• Must be willing to obtainadditional state licenses as needed to support patient access and BlueSky's growing service areas.
• Prior experience working as aPsychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is preferred butnot required.
• Mustnot own or operate a private practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
• Strong clinical background inpsychiatry and behavioral health.
• Strong knowledge and experience in theassessment and diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatment.
• Familiarity withnon-pharmacological and evidence-based behavioral health interventions.
• Strong computer skills and comfort usingEHRs, telehealth platforms, and other basic technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to providepatient-centered, evidence-based, and collaborative psychiatric care in a telehealth environment.
