AI Engineering Intern

We're looking for an AI Intern to join our Data Center of Excellence (CoE) team at Betsson Group.You'll support the team in exploring, building, and improving AI and agentic solutions withreal business impact, from LLM-driven prototypes to intelligent automation initiatives. Ifyou're curious about applied AI and eager to learn,we'd love to hear from you!

You'll get hands-on exposure to AI innovation in iGaming - a space wherecutting-edge technology supports real-time, high-impact decision-making. As part of our DataCoE,you'll contribute to AI initiatives under the guidance of experienced engineers, learning how business needs are translated into practical AI solutions.You'll have the opportunity to build your technical skills, collaborate with different stakeholders, and grow your understanding of how AI is adopted across the business. 

A taster of what you will be involved with: 

Expect to support the design, development, testing, and documentation of AI-powered prototypes, LLM-based workflows, and automation use cases that address real operational needs.You'll work alongside senior team members to learn about frameworks such asLangChain and related tools, contribute to experiments and proof-of-concepts, and gain exposure to best practices in AI development, evaluation, and production-readiness. 

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate should have the following: 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a BSc/MSc in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 

• Foundational understanding of Generative AI, machine learning, or data science concepts 

• Basic proficiency in Python and willingness to further develop software engineering skills 

• Interest in LLMs, agentic AI concepts, AI automation, RAG, and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Strands, or equivalent 

• Familiarity with core AI/ML concepts such as embeddings, retrieval, model evaluation, or prompt engineering 

• Ability to learn quickly, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute to team-based problem solving 

• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to documenting work and sharing learnings
