The OpportunityÂ
As an Everyday Maths Educator, you will deliver Babyzone’s Everyday Maths curriculum at Babyzone Bristol each week. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming, engaging and safe learning environment where parents, carers and children can learn together.Â
You will:Â
- Deliver the Everyday Maths curriculum with fidelity, ensuring sessions follow the intended structure, learning goals and ethosÂ
- Make small, appropriate adjustments to delivery in response to the needs of local families while preserving core contentÂ
- Prepare thoroughly for each session, including completing required online pre-delivery modules on the Babyzone learning platformÂ
- Create a warm, inclusive and supportive atmosphere where all families feel encouraged to participateÂ
- Model age-appropriate mathematical play and interactions, building families’ confidence to use maths in daily lifeÂ
- Manage group dynamics to maintain a calm, positive and engaging session environmentÂ
- Prioritise safeguarding, safety and wellbeing at all times, in line with Babyzone expectationsÂ
- Work collaboratively with the Hub Manager and wider Babyzone team to support smooth hub delivery and continuous improvementÂ
- Support the set-up and breakdown of the Babyzone space and be available during hub hours (8:30am–3:00pm) on delivery daysÂ
- Maintain accurate attendance and session records, delivering up to five 25-minute sessions per day with a maximum of ten families per sessionÂ
What You’ll NeedÂ
We’re looking for someone who:Â
- Has professional teaching experience with nursery, pre-primary or primary-aged childrenÂ
- Has a strong understanding of early childhood development and learning through playÂ
- Is confident building trust and rapport with families from diverse backgroundsÂ
- Communicates clearly and confidently with both adults and childrenÂ
- Is reliable, organised and comfortable delivering structured, curriculum-based sessionsÂ
- Has a strong awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to safe practiceÂ

- Location: Babyzone Bristol, 224 Youth Zone, Hartcliffe Way, Bristol BS4 1GQÂ
- Hours: 8:30am–3:00pm on delivery days. Friday are the delivery days. Â
- Contract: Part-time, self-employed (professional indemnity and public liability insurance required)Â
- Pay: ÂŁ175Â per delivery dayÂ
- Start Date: September 2026Â
- Reports to: Hub Manager / Programme LeadÂ
