Position Title: Infectious Disease Specialist - Per Diem

The Medicine Department at HMFP @ BIDMC is seeking an Infectious Disease Specialist for a per diem position. Your duties will include ad hoc weekend inpatient coverage. Your primary location will be BID-Needham. However, from time to time, based on clinical need, we may additionally arrange for you to provide services at other locations or within other affiliated entities. 

Job Requirements (examples below)

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board-certified or eligible in Infectious Diseases
• A valid MA medical license or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

The department will be engaged in the newly announced and exciting clinical collaboration between Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), BIDMC, and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) to establish New England’s only free-standing adult inpatient cancer hospital. The collaboration will bring together world-class clinicians to deliver transformational, precision medicine in an environment solely dedicated to defying cancer.
