IT System Engineer

What you will do: 

This position will be responsibleofmanageand implementallsystemsandnewapplications created byMES and developerson production floor,making sure thattransactions are follow up tooptimize plant operations, ensuring efficiency, precision and continuous improvement in key processes; and will be a liaison personbetweenPlant Leads andsystem development programmers. 

How you will do it: 

• Project management: 

• Implementapplicationson productionusing C#, .NET, JavaScript, Angular and jQuery. 

• Testing and documentation: 

• Perform testing and debugging of developed applications along withsoftware developers. 

• Participate with software developersto document technical procedures and create user manuals. 

• Support and mentoring: 

• Resolve technical incidents and provide support toPlant Leads. 

• Provide mentoring to other developers on the team.  

• Work together withMES developersandCOE TEAM in Transformation Activities. 

• Responsible for supportingPlant Leads of existing and newplant applications. 

• Responsible to implementnew applications. 

• Responsibleofimplementationaboutchanges onactual systemsinproduction and other departments. 

• Support continues improvement initiativeson new applications requiredwithin the production and other departments. 

• Report all injuries, almost accidents, unsafe acts / conditions and occupational health problems and take the necessary corrective measures, as well as support in the investigation. 

• Support and comply with all security practices, systems and rules established in the company. 

• Keep the areas clean and tidy, maintaining the 5’s standards. 

• Properly use Personal Protective Equipment.

What we look for: 

Required 

• Databases: SQL Server. 

• ERP: SAP (RFC,BAPIs, queries, transactions). 

• Effective communication: Ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. 

• Teamwork: Collaboration with different areas and teams to achieve common goals. 

• Leadership: Ability to coordinate projects, guide teams and foster a positive environment. 

• Problem solving: Analytical ability to identify problems and propose efficient solutions. 

• Time management: Organization and prioritization of tasks to meet established deadlines.

• Adaptability: Flexibility to proactively face changes and new technologies. 

• Critical thinking: Objective evaluation of situations to make informed decisions 

• ProgrammingEngineer or similar 

• English > 80 %. 

• Minimum of two years of experiencedevelop software 

. 

 Preferred: 

• Manufacturing processes: workflows, process optimization, and production control. 

• Integration of ERP systems and custom applications. 

• Agile development frameworks, such as Scrum, for project planning and execution.
