What will you be doing? 

As a SeniorConsultant IT Risk & Control at PwC, you play a crucial role in supporting ourfinancial sectorclientsin managing their IT risks. You are pivotal inidentifying opportunities to improve their digital chain and managing risks, helping them strengthen their IT environment to ensure continuity and compliance. You conduct detailed risk analyses,optimize processes, andprovide specialized advice on technology and automation.You ensure clientswillindependentlycomply with standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 and frameworks like COBIT, in line with regulations such as DORA and GDPR. As a Senior Consultant IT Risk & Control, your responsibilities include: 

• Assessment and optimization: Analyze and improve IT processes and systems toidentify and mitigate risks. 

• Development of risk frameworks: Work in multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive IT risk frameworks and ensure compliance with changing regulations. 

• Insightful reporting:Develop and present reports and dashboards that provide insights into IT risks and controls to clients and stakeholders. 

• Coaching and guidance: Coach junior colleagues and share knowledge of the latest IT trends and control mechanisms. 

• Client relationships and innovation:Maintain strong client relationships and encourage the development of digital solutions, including AI initiatives.

You enjoy collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and are a team player who can listen well and clearly convey ideas to colleagues and clients tocreate the best solutions. You combine strategic and analytical insights with a passion for technology and the drive to make it more resilient and robust. Asa go-getter, you work meticulously and consider various interests. Additionally, you create powerful data-driven reports and visuals that are convincing to (senior) management. 

• You have at least 3 years of relevant workexperience developing and implementing IT risk management and control mechanisms; 

• You understand the importance of risk management and controls within organizations; 

• You are interested in the latest technologies and quickly adapt to them; 

• You havecompleted a WO master's degree in a field such as Information Management, Computer Science, Business Information Management, Technical Business Administration, orcomparable IT and business-oriented study; 

• You potentiallyhaveacquired accreditations in IT risk management,CISA, CISM,etc; 

• You haveexperience with COBIT, GDPR,etc; 

• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English and easily adapt to changing work environments; 

• Experience and knowledge of (IT) laws and regulations related to the financial sector is a plus.
