Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilledJava Developer to join our development team in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices-based architecture, with experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise-level applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java-based applications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices usingSpring Boot andSpring Cloud.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance system functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline automation and cloud deployments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience inJava development.
• Strong knowledge ofSpring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Experience inMicroservices architecture andRESTful API development.
• Proficiency inSQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity withcloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Working knowledge ofDocker,Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withKafka,RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• Exposure tofront-end technologies (React, Angular) is a plus.
• Prior experience inretail, e-commerce, or supply chain domains.
• Knowledge ofperformance tuning anddistributed systems.
