We're looking for a founding backend engineer to build the distributed systems that power our AI employees. From day one you'll own real systems and shape the future of Jarmin.

**In any given week you'll be:**

* Designing and building complex backend systems and distributed infrastructure
* Building the orchestration layer that runs our agents
* Making decisions on reliability, performance, and data flow
* Putting out whatever fire just flared up
* Building internal tools so the whole team moves faster
* Hacking quick prototypes to find out if they're useful

**Ideally you:**

* Have deep experience with backend and distributed systems
* Turn vague problems into clear action items
* Ship code constantly
* Geek out on the newest AI tech/trends/ideas
* Enjoy diving into problems you've never seen before
* Hold a high bar and own the quality of everything you touch
* Love in-person team culture (we're in San Francisco)
