OPEN POSITIONS:PART TIME (LESS THAN 28 HRS/WEEK)

ASSISTANT SWIM COACH (1) - $17.42/hour

Available Shifts: 

• • 4.5 hours weekly+ additional 5 - 6 hours monthly for Swim Meets

LIFEGUARD – $16.43/hour

Available Shifts: 

• • Monday - Friday  Morning & Evenings
  • Saturday - Sunday  All shifts available

SWIM INSTRUCTOR – $16.43/hour

Available Shifts: 

• • Monday - Friday  4:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Saturday - Sunday  8:00am - 12:00pmOR 9:00am - 1:00pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (ALL POSITIONS):

• Minimum age of 16 or older (with valid NYS working papers for minors)
• Ability to maintain certification-level physical and mental readiness
• LIFEGUARDS: Must have a valid lifeguard certification(within 30 days of hire) and demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards
• Be able to pass the CDYMCA swim test, as administered by the Aquatic Director or designated individual
• Basic computer skills, with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
• Basic life support or professional rescuer CPR/AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration(completed within 30 days of hire)
• New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings(completed within 90 days of hire)
