TheReceiving Clerk is responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming hotel deliveries, verifying products against purchase orders and invoices, and ensuring accurate receiving records are maintained inBirchStreet and other hotel systems.

Key responsibilities include checking deliveries for quantity, quality, damage, temperature, and expiration dates; identifying and resolving discrepancies with vendors and hotel departments; processing and organizing receiving documentation; and ensuring food, beverage, alcohol, and other products are promptly delivered and properly stored.

This position will help maintain proper labeling, stock rotation, andFIFO practices, assist with inventory counts and reconciliation, and maintain a clean, safe, secure, and organized receiving area. The Receiving Clerk will also partner closely withFinance, Purchasing, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and other hotel departments to support an efficient purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and payment process.

The ideal candidate has previous receiving, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, or hospitality experience.Experience with BirchStreet, purchase orders, invoices, and hotel receiving operations is preferred.
