Maintenance Technician for Parish (NE)

Holy Family Catholic Church, located in Randallstown, MD, is seeking candidates for apart-time Maintenance Technician. Under general direction of the Business Manager, the part-time Maintenance Technician will oversee the maintenance of the buildings. This includes the primary fields of electrical, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, plumbing, etc. This is a 12-month position, working 19 weekly hours.

Essential Functions

• Performs basic and routine maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards.
• Assist with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, and carpentry, installation of fixtures and moving furniture or materials within the facilities.
• Maintaining organization in Facilities spaces.
• Consistently communicating work progress or any problems to the Business Manager.
• Utilizing Personal Protective Equipment and practicing safe work habits, including lock-out/tag-out.
• Snow removal and other seasonal tasks, as required by the Business Manager.

Position Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with no more than three current points.
• Some experience within the identified primary fields is a plus.
• Must be able to move furniture, equipment and other materials weighing up to and more than 100lbs. with assistance; to move about within very tight spaces where large and potentially dangerous equipment is stored.
• Must be able to operate various types of manual and power tools and automated systems; and to ascend/descend a ladder as needed.

Pay Range:  $18.00, Hourly
