POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technology department is responsible for the Development, Realization and Implementation of the strategic Digital Product Roadmap for Rainforest Alliance (including all supporting Technology processes), for all Global Business Initiatives and Assurance programs.

We are looking for an experiencedSenior .NET Developer with deep expertise in .NET technologies and reasonable exposure to cloud services. You will develop and maintain our in-house products, optimizing application performance, and driving best practices in cloud infrastructure and security.

You will report to the Senior Software Engineering Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the custom portal using.NET, C#.

• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability for a high-traffic environment.

• Design, implement, and integrateRESTful APIs andmessaging systemsfor seamless data exchange.

• Work withAzure Container AppsandAzure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.

• Ensure compliance with industry security standards.

• Some awareness of integratingTerraform into CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning.

• Work withAspire,Docker and containerization to streamline application deployment.

• Develop automated testing and deployment strategies to enhance reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive architectural decisions and innovation.

• Work withdecentralized teams across multiple locations and time zones.

• Work as a team player and influence System Design & Architecture

• Be part of aProduct team and participating in refinements and sprint planning

• Align with theArchitecture team,following best practices and techincal proficiency

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science

• 7+ years of experience in.NET development with expertise in.NET and C#.

• Experience withRESTful API development and best practices.

• Hands-on experience withContainer Apps andDevOps pipelines.

• Proficiency inSQLfor data storage.

• Experience withsecurity standards and best practices for application development.

• Practical knowledge ofDocker and containerized application deployment.

• Familiarity withtesting and deployment automation tools.

• Experience collaborating and working indecentralized teams.
