Job Description Summary
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will take responsibilities to work with team to ensure the stability and high effective operation of the facility & machining system.Install, maintain, and repair internal factory equipment, supervise technicians, suppliers who perform maintenance and tool making.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
• Maintainthe goodconditionof all mechanicalsystem for facility andmachiningtominimizethe idle timeofthe system, usethe data fromthe systemtosee the trend and decide themaintenanceplan.
• Review thetechnicalstandard inmaintenancemachine,use the deep knowledge to adjust to themost appropriate &updatedtechnicaldocument.
• Continuously participate inKaizen,technicalsolution, treasure hunting to extend the lifetime, improve stabilityofmachine and facilitysystem, reduce the cost, savingenergy,improve safetyofmachine and system.
• Utilize themanufacturingtools as Six Sigma,Leantoimprovethe effectiveof using labor and quality.
• Play akeyrole inNPImanufacturing support,work withvendor to prepare facility readyformanufacturingwith highestquality and fulfill thetimeline & EHSrequirements.
• Foresee and prepare the facilityreadyfor the businessextension innear future,do themodificationorextend if needed.Brainstorm different ways to use facility more effectively.
• Bring health and safety issues,unsafe acts and safetysuggestions tomanagement's attentionor correct those.Taking initiative to ensure work safety,solving health and safety issues.
• Workwith cross-functionalorganizations both within the facility and Haiphong site.
• ConductTotalPreventiveMaintenance &PreventiveMaintenance
• Othertasksas requested from SMDManager.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• BSc orMSc inMechanicalEngineeringor equivalent from an accredited university.
• 3+yearsexperienceofmaintenance and preventive in industrial factory,especially in Utilities system(such as:compress air, chiller, AHU,MAU, firefighting, coolingtower,…),manufacturingmachines(such as: CNC,vacuum, sandblasting,painting, brazing, heating/oven,hydraulic,pneumatic,… systems).
• Have excellent knowledge aboutmechanicalequipment andmachines.
• Have knowledge about Oil and Hydraulic/ pneumatic/mechanical/coolantsystem
• Effectiveverbal & writtencommunication in English & Vietnamese.
• Proficient inMicrosoft Officeto provide data analysis, engineering reports and managementpresentation updates.
• LeadRoute Cause Analysis: Analysis &Problem solving
• Basic Knowledgeof Health & SafetyRequirements for an Industrial factory.
