The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for below specific duties.
Your specific duties will include:
- Administer and maintain the organization'snetwork, server, cloud, and core systems infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, availability, and performance.
- Manageuser accounts, system access, hardware/software installations, workstations, peripherals, network equipment, and system upgrades throughout their lifecycle.
- Monitor systems and networks for performance and security issues, proactively identifying and resolving vulnerabilities, outages, and other technical problems.
- Manage criticalcybersecurity and data protection functions, including intrusion detection/prevention, antivirus, anti-malware, content filtering, software updates, backups, and data recovery.
- Design, maintain, and optimizecloud and virtual environments, ensuring solutions meet organizational requirements for scalability, security, compliance, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Lead and supportIT infrastructure and cloud projects, coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders, resolve escalated Help Desk issues, maintain technical documentation, and communicate technology risks and solutions to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or IT certification in related field.
- 5 years of experience as a system administrator or technical support (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and advanced analytical skills.
- Advanced to expert knowledge of Microsoft 365.
