ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa is a fast-growing global BPO, partnering with a US-based client. We are urgently seeking ayoung, positive, and energetic 180 Recruitment Consultant to join our team.
This is ahigh-volume candidate-facing role, focused onsourcing, screening, and booking interviews for top talent. You will be responsible forscreening approximately 300+ CVs per week and conducting back-to-back candidate interviews, ensuring that only the best matches progress to the client.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in afast-paced, structured recruitment environment, has excellent communication skills, and loves working with people.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM South African time – subject to daylight savings).
- Public Holidays:Â This role requires working on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
- Internet Requirements:Â A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and wired Ethernet capability is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
- Power Backup:Â Reliable backup required to manage load shedding or outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
- Work Environment:Â Fully remote.
Job Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing: Use job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels to identify high-quality candidates.
- Screening & Interviews: Conduct initial candidate screenings and back-to-back interviews to match talent to client requirements.
- Candidate Management: Maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing regular updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process.
- Database Management: Keep candidate information accurate and organized in internal systems.
- Job Advertising: Write and post compelling job ads to attract suitable candidates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with 360-degree recruiters or account managers to ensure alignment with client needs.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends to identify and engage with in-demand talent.
Requirements:
- ExcellentEnglish communication skills (verbal and written).
- Prior experience inrecruitment, preferably in high-volume roles.
- Strongattention to detail and ability toprioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellentcritical thinking anddecision-making skills.
- High energy and a positive, professional attitude.
