PositionOverview: 

As part of the talentedAFI team, you willperform a wide variety of tasks in a largeboat manufacturing facility. Assembly tasks performed may include gunking, glassing, assembling, fitting, andinstalling.

EssentialFunctions: 

• Responsible for installing cabinets, floors, cockpits,benches, and any other installation tasks asassigned. 

• Install the front of the line interior work with emphasis on the final finish elements and cosmetic aspects of theboat. 

• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Diversityof thought and experiencesisfundamental whenimagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiencesare necessary;however, others can be developed along the way.  

Required Qualifications:  

• High School diploma or GED 

• 2- 3 years of boat building experience preferred 

• Fitting / Installingexperience. 

• Working knowledge of hand tools. 

• Ability to lift heavyobjects. 

• Ability tomulti-task. 

• Ability to read and understand prints and productionschedules. 

• Ability to work with suspended loads and heavylifting. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 

• Must be able to adapt to changing requirements in a positive and proactiveway. 

• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels within theorganization. 

• Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal. 

• Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of thebusiness. 

Working Conditions:  

• Ability to work in a dusty and hot environment. 

• Mustpossess the desire and ambition toalways work safely and report all hazards to theirsupervisorimmediately. 

• Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP,and other regulatoryagencies. 

• Must be able to wear required personal protectiveequipment where designated, including but not limitedto safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc. 

• Must be able to understand and complete the OSHA questionnaire, passspirometertest, and physically wear a respirator whererequired. 

• Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending,climbing stairs, spending working hours on your feet, etc. 

• Must be able to understand all safety related document and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment. 

Working Conditions:  

• Roleis located in Merritt Island, FL 

Theanticipated pay range for this position is $21.65-26.30/hr. The actual pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
