About the RoleÂ
The Digital Marketing Manager will primarily focus on three areas: managing email campaigns and monthly newsletters using HubSpot, maintaining and optimizing website content (including SEO and AEO best practices), and overseeing paid ads management delivered through our agencies. You will work closely with the wider marketing team, and external agencies to deliver impactful marketing initiatives that drive engagement and generate high-quality leads that are passed to IQGeo sales team for qualification. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.Â
Duties/ResponsibilitiesÂ
Email Marketing & Newsletters:Â
- Plan, build and send email campaigns and monthly customer/prospect newsletters using HubSpotÂ
- Manage target lists, segmentation and email cadence in line with HubSpot workflows and data hygiene standardsÂ
- Draft newsletter and campaign content against agreed tone-of-voice guidelines, working with Content Marketing and Creative Design as neededÂ
- Monitor and report on email and newsletter performance (opens, clicks, conversions), suggesting improvementsÂ
Website Optimization:Â
- Maintain and update website content using HubSpot CMS, including pages, blogs and landing pagesÂ
- Apply on-page SEO and emerging AEO (answer engine optimization) best practices to improve organic visibility, including visibility for LLM-based search and citationÂ
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements to structure, content and user experienceÂ
- Coordinate with design and development resources on website changes as neededÂ
Google Ads Management (Agency-Managed):Â
- Act as the primary point of contact for our Google Ads agency, briefing priorities and reviewing performanceÂ
- Monitor and report on Google Ads campaign performance against agreed KPIs and budgetÂ
- Flag optimisation opportunities to the agency and internal stakeholdersÂ
- Ensure paid search activity is aligned with wider campaign and lead-generation prioritiesÂ
LinkedIn Ads Management (Agency-Managed):Â
- Act as the primary point of contact for our LinkedIn Ads agency, briefing priorities and reviewing performanceÂ
- Monitor and report on LinkedIn Ads campaign performance against agreed KPIs and budgetÂ
- Flag optimisation opportunities to the agency and internal stakeholdersÂ
- Ensure paid social activity is aligned with wider campaign and lead-generation prioritiesÂ
Additional Responsibilities:Â
- Contribute email, website and paid search performance data to the monthly marketing reportÂ
- Support the wider marketing team with ad hoc campaign and reporting tasksÂ
- Perform other related duties as assignedÂ
Â
Required Skills/AbilitiesÂ
- 3-5 years’ experience in digital marketing, with hands-on expertise in email marketing and marketing automation (HubSpot)Â
- Proven experience creating and managing email campaigns and monthly newslettersÂ
- Working knowledge of on-page SEO and emerging AEO (answer engine optimization) principlesÂ
- Experience managing or working with paid search campaignsÂ
- Ability to analyse campaign and website performance data and provide actionable insights to support optimizationÂ
- Excellent written communication skills, particularly for newsletter and email contentÂ
- Ability to develop clear processes and multitask effectively across multiple channelsÂ
- Proficient with Microsoft Office SuiteÂ
- Experience using Claude (or similar AI tools) integrated with HubSpot for content drafting and workflow automation is a plusÂ
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to support efficient campaign deliveryÂ
Education and ExperienceÂ
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experienceÂ
- 3-5 years experience in B2B digital marketing, ideally within enterprise software or technology environments Â
