THIS ROLE
A mid-level accounting position responsible for delivering comprehensive fund accounting services with minimal supervision. This role handles both low and medium complexity funds, focusing on core accounting processes and standard cluster communications. The position requires independent execution of established procedures while maintaining quality and timeliness standards.Â
Core Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements, NAV reports, and other deliverables using prescribed guidelinesÂ
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of work within established standards and following detailed checklistsÂ
• Apply relevant accounting standards and requirements as directedÂ
• Follow quality control processes and risk management protocolsÂ
• Build knowledge of client's specific requirements and industry practicesÂ
Tasks:Â
• Process and maintain accurate fund books and recordsÂ
• Perform daily bookkeeping and prepare periodic financial reportsÂ
• Process routine capital calls, distributions, and investor noticesÂ
• Identify and report potential operational risks to managerÂ
• Conduct self-reviews to maintain quality standardsÂ
• Assist in documenting standard operating procedures and to follow the agreed upon standard operating proceduresÂ
• Track work progress through timesheet completion Â
• Participate in required training programs and in process improvement initiativesÂ
• Perform other related duties as assigned for role and business needsÂ
ABOUT YOU
Educational Background:Â
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related fieldÂ
Professional Experience:Â
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, or related rolesÂ
