Onshore QA/QC Civil Engineer

• Responsible, within the ABSHERON FFD QAQC Team and under the QAQC Manager, forfollowing-up, monitoring and supervising QA & QC Civil Works activities carried out byEARLY WORKS Contractor and Subcontractor at the Construction site.
• Ensuring that his discipline’s contractual and technical requirements are duly applied byONSHORE EARLY WORKS Contractor and/or his Subcontractors.
• Verifies:
  • Contractor’s and/or Subcontractors’ drawings, fabrication procedures and methodologies.
  • Contractor and/or his Subcontractors have adequate equipment, resources, means and manpower to perform the jobwith the required quality level and to complete it in due time.
• Reports on a daily basis directly to the ONSHORE EARLY WORKS COMPANY Construction Manager.
• In continuous liaison with and reports to the COMPANY QA/QC Manager,enforcing decisions/directions taken atABSHERON FFD Management level.
• Organizes and participates to routine and random inspections and audits.
• Assists to daily / regular Construction meetings related to his discipline withEARLY WORKS Contractor and/or Subcontractors.
• Performs QA/QC and/or HSE visits and tours.
• Ensures an adequate reporting to the Company EARLY WORKS Construction Manager (areas of concerns, problems encountered in its discipline during construction and implementation both by COMPANY Construction Team and EARLY WORKS Contractor and/or his Subcontractors).
• Participates together with his supervision team to the review and comments of EARLY WORKS Contractor’s and/or Subcontractors’ Project Site documentation, including:
  • Project Site QA/QC plan
  • EARLY WORKS Contractor procedures
  • Construction plans
  • ITP
  • Test reports
• Ensures their full implementation byEARLY WORKS Contractor and/or his Subcontractors.
• Provides assistance to the COMPANY EARLY WORKS Construction team withall matters related to his discipline.
• Accountable for demonstrating, individually, exemplary behavior regarding HSE rules & requirements.

• Professional Experience (years): min 10 years’ Experience in O&G QA/QC civil works activities on large scale international projects
• Experience in similar position (years): mini 7 in similar role, background with TotalEnergies E&P General Specifications
• Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent (Civil degree engineering or equivalent certification will be a plus)
• Languages: English mandatory

• This position isstarting at the end of the FEED phase and Pre FID for the ONSHORE EARLY WORKS phase activities.
• The job holder shall be responsible for thesupervision and coordination of all activities related to EARLY WORKS QAQC activities for Absheron FFD project during the EARLY WORKS phase.
• The job holder will perform this work in accordance withProject procedures and TotalEnergies General Specifications, Project rules and guidelines.
