A leading multinational organization in the energy management, automation, and industrial solutions sector is seeking a Contracts Engineer to join its Dubai-based team. The company supports major infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects across the region, providing advanced technical solutions and project execution support to clients in the UAE and wider Middle East.
The Contracts Engineer will support theContract Administrator in managingcommercial and contractual activities related to ongoing projects and transactions. The role will involve assisting withcontract documentation, commercial coordination, internal system updates (SAP), and basic financial and administrative contract-related tasks.
The position requires acommercially minded individual withstrong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with internal teams, suppliers, clients, and finance departments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Contract Administrator in daily contractual and commercial activities.
- Assisting with the preparation, review, and follow-up of contract-related documents.
- Supporting commercial transactions and ensuring proper documentation flow.
- Assisting with basic UAE VAT-related requirements for commercial transactions.
- Supporting Letter of Credit (LC) documentation preparation and coordination.
- Updating and maintaining relevant information in SAP.
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely completion of contract-related actions.
- Maintaining organized records of contracts, commercial documents, and correspondence.
- Supporting the team with administrative and reporting tasks as required.
- Educational background inBusiness Administration, Commerce, Engineering, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Previous experience in acommercial, contracts, project administration, or similar support role is preferred.
- Commercial background or understanding ofcommercial transactions.
- Basic knowledge of UAE VAT requirements for commercial transactions.
- Basic knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC) documentation preparation.
- Basic knowledge of SAP.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail and ability tomanage documentation accurately.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Dedicated, hard-working, and able to support multiple tasks in a structured manner.
- Ability to work in a professional corporate environment and collaborate withdifferent internal stakeholders.
